Chef Jeff's Pasta Night

Explore the many dimensions of SELF-TAUGHT GENIUS by learning to make fresh fettuccine and hand formed and filled pastas with Jeff Venier, a self-taught chef and the Manager of Café Mingei. To accompany this participatory cooking lesson, participants will enjoy a lively dinner featuring the pasta created in the class, and wine! Each attendee will receive recipes to take home.
Chef Jeff learned to make fresh pasta from his grandmother, cultivating a deep love for food from his Italian family. These early experiences started a life-long exploration with culinary techniques – vinegar and bread making, preserving, fermenting, and even small-scale farming.
