March Family Sunday Pop Up
Part of the Family Sunday SeriesThis month, take a walk on the wild side in a felt animal mask, inspired by the Museum’s extensive mask collection. Led by Teaching Artist Danielle Guimond you will use felt, fabric, needles and thread to create your own animal mask.
Guest Artist Bio: Art has always been a part of my life. When I was 10 years old, my dad taught me how to use his old 35mm film camera. From that day on, visual art became a tool for my self-expression and my creativity began to blossom. I started to explore and see the world in this whole new perspective. It was beautiful and exciting. My passions range from darkroom photography, fashion and mixed media. As an artist, I am on a constant quest to learn and apply new techniques to my craft, while my work continues to evolve through every experience of my journey.
At 1:30pm, join us for a special performance of La Jolla Playhouse’s 2019 POP Tour LIGHT YEARS AWAY. The POP Tour brings an original production specifically crafted for young audiences that addresses themes and situations that resonate with kids ages 8 to 11. Seating will be limited.
