In this presentation, the Programs Coordinator Ana Miguel from local non-profit organization Border Angels will share the history of U.S. immigration policies and the Border Angels programs available for those impacted by these policies. Participants will also learn how they can become involved with Border Angels.
More About Ana Miguel Ana Miguel was born and raised in San Diego. Ana earned her Associate's degree from San Diego City College in Social and Behavioral Sciences in 2018. She then transferred to San Diego State University where she earned her Bachelor's in Chicana/o Studies in 2021. Ana joined the Border Angels team in September 2022, serving as the Programs Coordinator. Ana is passionate about serving her community and looks forward to following the mission of Border Angels in advocating and educating people on the rights of migrants and refugees.
