Join us for one last hurrah in the Museum as we know it! Celebrate Mingei’s past and our exciting future at this unusual, construction themed grand closing party.

Funds raised will support Mingei’s TRANSFORMATIONAL RENOVATION which will feature a plaza level free and open to all, a dedicated classroom, a new program and performance space, and second-floor terraces with views onto the Plaza de Panama.

ONE OF A KIND ART VESSELS, ‘PAIRINGS 1’ created by LUCE et STUDIO, 2018 Torrey Pine wood blocks salvaged from local storm damaged trees - ‘transformed’ into vessels. First in a series, they examine the exchange between the machine and the hand; functional and abstract and are inspired by the Studio’s work with Mingei. Value: $740

GOURMET DINNER FOR 12 on MINGEI’S NEWLY REVEALED OUTDOOR TERRACES Gourmet Dinner and Wine for 12, catered by Urban Kitchen Group (Cucina Urbana) served on the Museum’s terraces with beautiful views of the Park. Value: $2,500

YOMAR AUGUSTO HAND CRAFTED ARTBOOK This beautiful hand made silk screen and hand drawn book by Brazilian artist, Yomar, was inspired by a mother and son visit to The Met. Winner also will enjoy a group tour of his inspiring studio, for four, within one year of auction. Value: $500

ARLINE FISCH DAISY CHAIN NECKLACE, 2016 Unique wearable art, this beautiful example of the artist’s craft features fine silver and coated copper wire spool knit flowers. Winner also will enjoy an exclusive tour of Arline’s studio, for four, within six months of auction. Value: $1,500
