The film “THE HANDS OF MASTER SHIMAOKA — Rope Impressed Inlay Mingei Pottery,” was produced in Japan and played continuously throughout the run of the exhibition.

The exhibition was funded in part by the San Diego Commission for Arts and Culture and the County of San Diego Community Enhancement Program. This exhibition was the Museum’s fourth collaboration with the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority as part of Lindbergh Field’s Cultural Exhibit Program.
