FROM THE LAND OF THE SILK DRAGON was the first major U.S. exhibition to present the diversity of exquisite festival costumes and silver jewelry worn by ethnic peoples of Guizhou Province.

Guest-curated by Phila McDaniel, with assistance from Dr. Li Ting-gui of the Guizhou Institute of Nationalities, and Huang Hai, lecturer/scholar on Guizhou silver art.
