Travel for the day with Mingei Staff, including Curator Guusje Sanders, and other Mingei friends for a day at the enchanting Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens. This world-renowned institution celebrates curiosity, learning, and discovery. Regardless of who you are, The Huntington has a space that is guaranteed to interest you!
We will begin the day with a 60-minute guided walking tour of their campus, which will help orient you for the day ahead. You'll get a glimpse at some of the galleries, gardens, and special exhibition spaces. During our visit, you’ll have access to the eight directions of the wend: Edmund de Wall, Mineo Mizuno: Homage to Nature, Radical Histories: Chicano Prints from the Smithsonian American Art Museum, and more! The rest of the day is yours to roam and dive deep into everything The Huntington has to offer, all at your own pace.
Your ticket includes chartered bus transportation, a light breakfast, all tour and museum entry fees, snacks and wine for the return bus ride, as well as a tax-deductible donation to the Museum.
