With the opening of our new exhibition, Blue Gold, Mini Mingei will be all about indigo. Blue Gold shows the beauty of indigo with amazing creative objects and the surprising magic of a chemical reaction. Join us outside by the Nikigator on September 20th, we’ll read Stay, Little Seed by Cristiana Valentini and use Japanese indigo leaves grown here at Mingei to hand-dye a pair of socks.
Mini Mingei is perfect for parents, grandparents, and caregivers with children ages 2–5. These events are free for Mingei Members and $7 for adults. Kids are always free!
