Mini Mingei | Mingei International Museum

Our littlest visitors and their families are invited to explore toddler-centered folk art, craft, and design!

This month for Mini Mingei, we are partnering with Woset. Based in Tokyo, Japan, Woset’s mission is to inspire and nurture the endless imaginations of people of all ages through creative tools and storytelling.

On November 15th, we’ll read The Bug Club by Elise Gravel. Participants will use Woset Soil to create imaginative bugs inspired by the creatures that live in the Woset world. They’ll shape and design their own unique bugs, bringing them to life with creative details and textures.

Mini Mingei is perfect for parents, grandparents, and caregivers with children ages 2–5. These events are free for Mingei Members and $7 for adults. Kids are always free!
