Mini Mingei | Mingei International Museum

Our littlest visitors and their families are invited to explore toddler-centered folk art, craft, and design!

This month for Mini Mingei, we are partnering with Woset. Based in Tokyo, Japan, Woset’s mission is to inspire and nurture the endless imaginations of people of all ages through creative tools and storytelling.

On November 1st, we’ll read Walls by Brad Holdgrafer, and afterward, participants will sculpt puppets using Woset Soil, shaping unique facial features and expressions. The puppets will come to life as participants color and decorate their clothing.

Mini Mingei is perfect for parents, grandparents, and caregivers with children ages 2–5. These events are free for Mingei Members and $7 for adults. Kids are always free!
