As part of our Community Mondays series, TILTshift Dance and bkSOUL present the Asian American Dance Festival 2025 (AADF2025)—San Diego's first dance festival dedicated to celebrating AAPI artists. In addition to live performance showcases held throughout the multi-day, multi-venue event, they’ll host a special Dance Film Screening.
Submissions came from around the world, with a focus on short, movement-based works created by AAPI artists that explore themes of identity, belonging, heritage, resistance, and resilience. A panel of dance and film professionals curated the final selection. The screening also features a special showcase of student films (not juried).
