Art Break | Mingei International Museum

Join us to celebrate the closing weekend of Clearly Indigenous - Native Visions Reimagined in Class. Exhibiting artist, Ramson Lomatewama, will share his personal approach to glasswork, which has positioned him as one of the most celebrated Native American Glass Artists to date. Centered in Hopi philosophies and his own worldview, Ramson will share that his approach to glasswork reveals important aspects of our own lives, such as fear. Glasswork is more than just blowing glass; it's about overcoming fear in all its forms and finding the humor and joy in between.
