Libraries are hubs for information, connection, and learning—and a material library is no different. In this talk, Kara West, a librarian managing the material library for one of the world’s largest architecture and design firms, will share how these unique libraries support designers and architects in exploring building materials—allowing them to see, touch, and understand their properties and applications. A selection of innovative and sustainable materials, including textiles, tiles, and solid surfaces, will be available to browse during the event.
