Join us for a dynamic Director’s Circle Salon exploring the legacy of Ilse and Lloyd Ruocco’s groundbreaking Design Center. Ruocco authority and guest curator, Todd Pitman, will share historical and archival insights, and Curt Sherman, interior designer and fellow Mingei Director’s Circle member, will bring firsthand stories from his time working closely with Ilse Ruocco at this creative hub. This talk will be moderated by Inside the Design Center guest curator, Dave Hampton.
The panel discussion will take place in Mingei’s La Atalaya Foundation Theater. Light refreshments will be provided, and there will be time for mingling with fellow Director’s Circle Members and other special guests. ARTIFACT at Mingei will be open that evening for its monthly prix fixe global dinner. If you’re interested in dining at ARTIFACT, please be sure to make a reservation in advance.
