This month’s Make at Mingei welcomes Mexican-Lebanese artist and educator Georgina Reskala for a community workshop centered around storytelling, healing, and collective making. Through writing or sewing onto fabric, participants will share fears, wishes, memories, and personal reflections to help create a large collaborative textile piece. Using fabric and thread, Georgina will guide participants through the act of stitching together individual voices into a shared artwork. This workshop invites the community to connect through creativity, deep listening, and making together.
Make at Mingei is made possible through a generous grant from the ResMed Foundation.
