Join jewelry artist and exhibiting _La Frontera _artist Maru López in an exploration of color and materials. Inspired by the materiality and aesthetics of our surroundings and lived experiences, Maru will guide participants in the making of mixed media necklaces. Using metal wire, fabric, papers, and found objects you will create a piece of wearable art that will convey personal stories.
No prior jewelry making experience is needed. Light refreshments will be served.
