The beauty of the art of North American Indians, including Navajo rugs, Hopi kachinas, masks from the American Northwest Coast, pictographs on hide from the Great Plains, ceramics from the Southwest and jewelry from the Zuni and Navajo tribes. The Navajo artist Joe Ben, Jr. created a sand painting in the Museum during the exhibition.
