The exhibition was funded in part by the City of San Diego Commission for Arts and Culture and the County of San Diego Community Enhancement Program.

A traveling exhibition of Mingei International Following its showing at Mingei International, CROWNING GLORY traveled to the Museum of Craft and Folk Art in San Francisco for a presentation there from June 6-July 29, 2001.

During the 1980s Moses created more than 250 whimsical hats from paper bags contributed by merchants in his Hawaiian neighborhood. They are imaginative, amusing and timeless sculpture.
