A contemporary weaver of San Diego who was a leader in her field of inventive structure of design and use of organic materials interlocked with fiber. Eve Gulick played a major role in the recent history of weaving and was the earliest influence in the present-day phenomenon of American life in which more and more young people are turning to the crafts as a balance to an increasingly technological society.
