More than 250 select objects used in daily Japanese life — contemporary ceramics of Tatsuzo Shimaoka, textile dyeing of Takashi Yotsumoto and lacquer by Arihiko Natsume, three of Japan's senior and leading artist craftsmen. These artists were the leaders in the preservation and continuity of Japan's 5,000 year-old tradition of art in daily life.
