Don’t just hang art, wear it!
Don’t just hang art, wear it!
Mingei International Museum introduces a new form of art to Animal Crossing: New Horizons—clothing! Animal Crossing players can now choose from a selection of jackets and dresses inspired by clothing from the Museum’s collection. The clothing designs were created by Mingei's Graphic Designer, Elizabeth Martinez. Martinez is an avid fan of Animal Crossing and pursued the idea of contributing to the game saying, “I wanted to design clothing from the Museum's collection because I thought sharing these works could provide a different perspective on museum objects”.

How did you get into Animal Crossing?
When I was younger my family used to go to swap meets together. One time, when I was ten years old, my sister and I bought a GameCube from a stall for thirty-dollars along with a copy of Animal Crossing. It was the cutest option out of all the games I could find, and I've been hooked ever since.
It’s comforting to play a game that doesn’t have any specific goal, you can literally do anything you want. Plus it has the most relaxing music!
